Da ist er nun, der offizielle Trailer zu Prometheus in ordentlicher Qualität und ja er stimmt mit der geleakten Version überein. Mir gefällt ja der Aspekt wie elegant Ridley Scott sich dem ersten und nahezu perfekten Alien Trailer annähert und so geschickt daran erinnert in welchem Genre dieser Mann zuhause ist. Hier nun also die HD-Version. Fullscreen und aufdrehen versteht sich von selbst.

A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Kinostart weltweit ist dann am 8. Juni 2012.

Unglaublich dass es schon 10 Jahre her ist als der erste Teil der Herr der Ringe Saga im Kino bei uns anlief. Heute kündigt sich das nächste Zeitalter an: Der kleine Hobbit. In 3D. Hier der erste offizielle Trailer der schneller durch das Netz ziehen sollte als eine Meute Uruk-Hai. Und Martin Freeman ist der perfekte Bilbo.

“A Monster Calls” Book Trailer

Von der Geschichte bzw. dem Buch “A Monster Calls” von Patrick Ness und Jim Kay habe ich noch nie zuvor gehört, aber dieser Trailer hier macht für ein Buch ungemein viel richtig und mir gefällt dieser düstere Stil sowieso ungemein gut.

Bin gerade über diesen fantastischen und leider viel zu kurzen ES:Skyrim Live Action Trailer aus der Drachenfelsschmiede LOGAN gestoßen, der vermutlich schon vor zwei Wochen die Runde machte, aber da schien ich wohl gerade nach alter Drachenkämpfer Manier mit meinem Gleichgewicht am Boden einer Schänke zu kämpfen. Release ist ja dann am 11.11.11. Dezimal wären das übrigens 63.

Steampunk Doku-Trailer “Vintage Tomorrows”

In letzter Zeit häufen sich ja hier Steampunk Kurzdokus und Trailer und jede Menge anderer Kram, was ich wirklich sehr begrüße, und mit “Vintage Tomorrows” steht auch schon die nächste Doku in der Tür, die wirklich sehr sehr gut aussieht, unter Anderem Cory Doctorow von Boingboing zu Wort kommen lässt und im Rahmen des Intel Tomorrow Project entsteht, welches sich dem (Retro)Futurismus verschrieben hat:
