BlakeBelvin hat sich ein paar Nike aus dem Jahr 2015 mit Power-Laces mittels eines Arduino und ein paar Servos selber gebaut. Sieht zwar noch ein wenig klobig aus, aber die Sportsmänner mit dem Schwung im Logo dürfen ruhig daran erinnert werden das es ein ernsthaftes Interesse für diese Schühchen gibt (wollte an der Stelle auf das McFly2015 Projekt hinweisen, das scheint es aber nicht mehr zu geben). Gabriel Dishaw baut Sneaker aus alten Pentium-Platinen

Gabriel Dishaws fertigt gerne Kunst aus Dingen die andere gerne wegwerfen. Sein neuestes Werk nennt er liebevoll “Blazer Pentium 1.0” und zeigt ein paar schnieke, wenn auch kaum benutzbare, Sneaker aus alten Pentium Platinen. Man achte auf die tollen Details wie das alte (BNC?)-Kabel als Schnürsenkel oder den EEPROM als Laschen-Logo.

This sculpture is part of a shoes series I’m currently working where I revisit some of my favorite classic sneakers silhouettes. With this piece I again tried to create a complete piece with both box and shoe notice some of the details, shoes lock down inside of box for easy portability, I also tied this piece around a theme,”Pentium”, the name of Intel’s chips. You will notice this repeated through out the shoes, and box.

Ja nach den Meat Cards, dem Bacon iPhone Case sind Bacon Schuhe der einzig konsequente Schritt im Bereich WTF-Marketing. Ob ich sie mir kaufen würde? Nein. Ob ich sie essen würde? Maybe.

Nothin’ tastier in the morning then to slip on a nice pair of bacon shoes and go about your day. As someone who loves the meaty stuff, this is the perfect way to avoid all that grease and and keep your feet looking crisp and scrumptious all day. I have bacon bandages, bacon scarves, designer bacon everything, but the printing is so cheap on most of it it just looks like pink and red wavy stripes. But on these Keds it actually looks like the real thing.
