Den chronologischen Recut von Pulp Fiction von Arthur Reeder hatte ich zwar letztes Jahr hier schon mal, aber seit kurzem findet sich das Ding auch auf Youtube (in HD!) und ist immernoch enorm sehenswert für Freunde von Tarantinos größtem Werk, die die Reihenfolge natürlich aus dem Effeff aufsagen können.

Arthur Reeder hat Pulp Fiction einen Chronologischen Cut verpasst der den kompletten Film in der richtigen Reihenfolge abspult. Hierzu gabs es letztes Jahr auch eine schöne Infografik. Durch diesen Edit geht natürlich extrem viel von der Cleverness verloren die Tarantino vor allem durch den Schnitt herausgeholt hat. Dennoch sehr sehenswert und als Torrent verfügbar.

Five years ago I was watching Pulp Fiction with my friends and someone mentions that the story was hard to follow. I made the joke that I should re-edit the film into chronological order to make the story more coherent.

In November, Torrentfreak.com released an article about record breaking torrent files. On the list was the
oldest torrent known to be still active: The.Matrix-ASCII.

I started to think about what it was that they were doing. Like my film, this film was a classic example of fair use. I have created a new work based on the work of Quentin Tarantino.

Armed with the original DVD, mencoder converted the film to a xvid/ac3 high resolution encoding. Kdenlive preserved the 5.1 surround sound during editing and when I was done, I had another
high resolution xvid/ac3. Using Avidemux, Kdenlive, The GIMP, Handbrake, and FFMPEG the film has been re-encoded to a Xvid for everyone to download.

Derzeit geistert im Netz ein “What” Supercut mit Don Draper aus Mad Men durch das Netz. Seit gestern gibt es dazu nun auch ein Pulp Fiction Mashup, welches eigentlich von Doktor Katze sein müsste der diesen Gedanken quasi als Erster hatte.

Pulp Fiction “What You See, Is What You Hear” Audio Mix

Dieses Video kann einfach mal Alles! Fast alle Kernszenen aus Pulp Fiction wurde liebevoll seziert, gesampled und jede Menge kleine Sound/Videoschnipsel so einem einzigen großen Over-The-Top-Audio-Mix in bester Tarantino-Manier wieder zusammengefügt.

Die Fingerwippe auf dem Latexkopf als Percussion toppt auch erstmal alles was die kommende Woche noch in der Tube erscheinen wird, versprochen! This is a Youtube Masterpiece!
