1923 / 1925

Zur späten Nachtstunde möchte ich euch einfach mal diese zwei Loops von Max Hattler ans Herz legen, die sich mir gerade mit jeder Sekunde Laufzeit tiefer in den Cortex brennen.

1923 (aka Heaven) is one of two animation loops directed by Max Hattler, inspired by the work of French outsider artist Augustin Lesage. 1923 is based on Lesage’s painting ‘A symbolic Composition of the Spiritual World’ from 1923.

The second loop, 1925, is based on Lesage’s painting ‘A symbolic Composition of the Spiritual World’ from 1925 and can be found here. The films were created during 5 days in February 2010 with students at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark.

    Ich hatte das 1923 vor ein paar Wochen bei mir. Das ist so was von LSD-like, habe ich mir sagen lassen.

    Habe minutenlang regelrecht drauf gestarrt. Großartigst!

    Max Hattler ist wohl so eine Art digitaler Videokünstler. Auf jeden Fall sind diese zwei Loops sehr geil und auf seiner Webseite hat es noch einiges mehr. Via misterhonk…….
