Staro Riga 2009 – Die Lättische Oper als Architektonische Projektion

Dieses Jahr hat zum zweiten Mal das Lichtfestival Staro Riga in der Lettischen Hauptstadt Riga statt gefunden und wie man sich denken kann, drehte sich während dieser fünf Tage alles rund ums Thema Licht, Projektion und Schatten und so hat es auch natürlich mein Lieblingsthema Architekturprojektion auf den Spielplan geschafft. Zu sehen gibts es eine knapp 17-minüte Projektion auf die Fassade des lettischen Staatstheater zu grandiosen Ambient Klängen der Gruppe DABA unter der Leitung von Viktor Keino auch bekannt als VJ Wickiss.

The video is projected on the facade of the Latvian National Opera. The artists explore and transform the facade of the building, they become architects when adding new forms and decorations to the facade. This video is a story about the opera and it is a present in honor of LNO 90th anniversary by the light festival Staro Rīga.

    schönes Video, aber ich glaube “Lättisch” gibt es gar nicht, oder?
    muss das nicht “lettisch” heißen von Lettland?
