Ken Taylor’s “Sucker Punch” Poster

Abartig gutes Poster von Ken Taylor, den ich hier schon so oft hatte, für Mondo und “Sucker Punch”. Der Film selbst lockt mich eher weniger aus der Reserve, aber dieses Poster – Whoa! via /film

Nach dem Klick mal noch der Trailier, falls ihr nicht wisst was mit Sucker Punch gemeint ist.

Set in the 1950s, it tells the story of Baby Doll (Browning), who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution in Brattleboro, Vermont, and while there she starts to imagine an alternate reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is captured by an unknown adversary. She has 5 days to escape before being lobotomized.

In order to cope with the situation, she enters the hyper-real world of her imagination, and the lines between reality and dream begin to blur. She is joined with friends who are inmates from the institution. Lessons learned in the said fantasy world could help the girls escape their real-world fate.

    Ich war gestern im Kino und hab das normale Filmplakat gesehen und hab mir noch gedacht, wie schlecht muss der Film denn sein. So gut das Plakat auch gemacht ist, diese Gedanken kann ich einfach nicht ausblenden, weswegen ich mir sowas nie aufhängen könnte. Würde immer nur denken: mieser Film!

    @Hendrik: ja, da hast du wohl recht. nen schlechten film hängt man sich nicht an die wand, es sei denn er ist schon so schlecht das er wieder gut ist. (Toxic Avenger zum Beispiel)

    aber ken taylor kann ich nicht oft genug featuren. ich liebe seine arbeiten!

    dude, Led Zep und Silversun Pickups im Trailer reicht mir schon völlig aus um den film sehen zu wollen! und auch sonst glaube ich der ist genauso abartig wie das poster!

    ich hoffe der film wird gut. optisch gibt zack snyder ja immer ordentlich gas – und im zweifelsfall lasse ich mein gehirn einfach zu hause.
